Vinotemp Wine Cabinet Delivery and Installation Considerations

Prior to ordering your Vinotemp Wine Cabinet, there are a few considerations that need to be addressed to insure successful delivery and installation of your  wine cabinet.

Space: Your wine cabinet will take up floor space. Please check to make sure the dimensions of the cabinet you are considering will work in the space you've allotted for it in your home. Please follow the recommended clearance guidelines outlined below to ensure the cooling system installed inside your wine cabinet   has enough room to properly exhaust. Note: upgrading to any insulation thicker than the standard R12 will increase the dimensions of your cabinet.

Rear Exhaust Location
• Leave min 6 “clearance from the rear to the wall.
• Leave min 12” clearance from the top to the ceiling.
• Leave min 6” clearance from the left and right sides.

Front Exhaust Location
• Leave min 6” clearance from the front if left and right sides unobstructed.
• Or, leave min 36” clearance from the front if left and right sides obstructed

Top Exhaust Location
• Leave min 12” from the top to the ceiling.
• Leave min 2 “clearance from the rear to the wall.
• Leave min 2” clearance from the left and right sides.

Side Exhaust Location
• Leave min 6 “clearance from the left or right side to the wall.
• Leave min 12” clearance from the top to the ceiling.

Shipping: All Vinotemp Wine Cabinets are shipped in one piece with the Wine-Mate Cooling System installed.
Note: some larger custom wine cabinets arrive  with the cooling system packaged separately. To read more about our shipping methods, please visit our Shipping & Returns page.

Delivery: To ensure a smooth delivery and installation of your wine cabinet, check to make sure that the path to your cabinet’s final placement is clear and  accessible. Are there any stairs, doorways, hallways, or tight turns that the cabinet must clear in order to reach your preferred installation location? Because  Vinotemp wine cabinets are delivered fully assembled, you may incur additional fees for delivery to hard to access areas of your home.
