To help avoid issues of too much foam, be sure your keg has rested long enough to settle. Also, cold beer will produce less foam than warm beer. Pre-chill the beer keg in refrigerator for 6-12 hours. (10 hours is ideal) before use. Warning: Never put a keg into the freezer. The beer might be damaged and the keg might burst.
